14 Months - Merry Xmas 2008

Lost of things have happened since I last posted:

5 teeth (3 top & 2 bottom) with more to follow
Bum Shuffles
Crawls
Pulls Self up on almost anything
Eats 3+ meals a day (the same food that the other kids eat)
Plays happily by self or with others

Your FIRST Birthday

I still can't believe we made it through a whole year without too much grief. There will be many more fantastic years to come Keziah and I promise you endless amounts of love and happiness

We've just had your second christmas, another quiet one as the money was rather tight but we definitely didn't go without. We had a lovely day of opening pressies spending time with Morgan and Great Grandma, we then came home and Daddy made a gorgeous Roast Chicken of which you ate everything that was offered to you and wanted more. You had a really late night and were still up at almost 10pm on Christmas night but that's okay, we don't do that very often and you had a late nap so you were still happy at that time of night

5 months 3 Weeks Old

Jeez, time is fleeting and madness has DEFINITELY taken it's toll LOL

Keziah is growing like you wouldn't believe, is reaching new milestones almost weekly and is eating solids 2 times a day. She LOVES her vegetables and fruit and has so far eaten Apples, Pears, Mango & Apples, Banana, Pumpkin & Sweetcorn, Kumara & Sweetcorn, Pumpkin and she hasn't refused it unless she's not hungry at the time

At our last Plunket visit she weighed in at 7.08kg but I can guarantee that she's heavier then that now..even only 3 weeks on! She also had her last lot of immunizations for a while.. 10 months is the next lot so at least we get a bit of a break before them

She really loves her Tummy Time and will purposely roll if you put her on the floor on her back LOL she's so cheeky!

Opps, haven't posted in a while... 4 Months 1 Week Old

I have been so flat out being a mum to the most gorgeous baby ever that I haven't updated our blog since Keziah was 2 months old.... she's FOUR months now!! Scary thought...she's growing up way to fast!!!!!

So much has been going on with her lately.. she is always doing something new (smiling, screaming, giggling, rolling over) is gaining weight and getting bigger by each passing day... At our last Plunket visit (3 months) She weighed in at 5.39kg and was 61cm long and I can imagine that by her next visit at 5 months she'll be much bigger then that and doing alot more :)

We NEED more clothes... especially now the weather is getting cooler... she's a double zero if anyone wants to buy her anything!! *hint, hint*

She likes playing SUPER BABY, where Raoul and I hold her up over our head so she's flat on her tummy and then fly her around the room..(like the picture above)

Merry 1st Christmas Our Little Lady

Well your first christmas has come and gone, and although you probably wont remember this I wanted to jot down what you received so we can look back on this in the years to come

Where does time go?

Thought it was about time for an update... it's been a while :P
Miss Keziah is 2 months old now and time is fleeting away towards christmas with only 4 days to go until the big fat man in the red suit shows up bearing lots of pressies.
Keziah is now over 4kg's and gaining more by the day, at our last Plunket visit she had gained a whole 190g in one week so we're obviously doing something right on the feeding front :)
She now has a set sleeping routine she has a nap during the day which starts at about midday and she'll sleep for a good 3-4 hours before wanting more food... and at night she has a feed at 7pm, then I change her bum, swaddle her up and put her on the other side and sometime around 8 she falls asleep for the night and she normally sleeps through to somewhere between 4.30 and 5.30 which is awesome considering she's still so young :) She's now smiling and cooing also which is absolute heart melt material.. it's so gorgeous!! :) She just loves to dance and sing crazy songs (like Spider Pig from The Simpsons movie) with me and the kids :)

Oh, time sure does fly...

when you're a mummy :) Keziah will be 3 weeks old on Wednesday (OMG, she'll be in college before long...) Things are going really well so far and even the night time feeds are becoming more bearable when I actually get into the swing of things :) We've actually established a routine somewhat and is feeding 4 hourly for about 45 minutes which is quite good :)

She was weighed today and has passed her birth weight but only just... 100g gained so far, but at least that is better than loosing weight due to not eating enough... her head circumference was 35cm at birth, but today it's 2cm bigger YAY must have big brains growing in there LOL

My poor little lamb is sick...she has a stuffed up nose and it's making her feel icky :o(
